Central Banks: Monetary policy meetings in Japan, Canada, Indonesia, Sweden, Russia and Turkey. The quarterly Bank of Japan Outlook for Economic Growth and Prices and the Bank of Canada Monetary Policy Report will be published. Bank of Canada Governor Poloz, Bank of Japan Governor Kuroda, and Swiss National Bank President Jordan will be speaking publicly during the week.
Holidays: Markets closed for Easter Monday in Italy, Spain, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Switzerland, Great Britain, Canada, Hong Kong, South Africa, Germany, France and Australia. New Zealand and Australia are also closed on Friday fro ANZAC Day. Italy observes Liberation Day on Thursday.
Scheduled U.S. Economic Statistical Releases: Quarterly GDP and PCE price deflator. Monthly existing home sales, new home sales, FHFA house price index, Chicago Fed National Activity Index, Kansas City and Richmond Fed manufacturing indices, durable goods orders, and U. Michigan/Reuters consumer sentiment. Weekly jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, chain store sales, energy inventories, and mortgage applications.
Japanese Data: Industrial production, retail sales, unemployment, corporate service prices, supermarket sales, housing starts, construction orders, all industry index, Tokyo consumer prices, machine tool orders, and index of leading economic indicators.
Selected Other Asian Releases: Hong Kong, Malaysian and Singaporean consumer prices. South Korean GDP and consumer confidence. Singaporean unemployment and industrial production. China’s index of leading economic indicators.
Euroland: Consumer confidence and EU Commission updated forecasts.
Members of the Euro Area: German IFO business climate index and import prices. German, French, and Dutch consumer confidence. Spanish and Finnish producer prices. Portugal’s current account, Finnish unemployment, and Belgian business sentiment. Austrian industrial output and manufacturing purchasing managers index. Spanish trade balance and unemployment.
Eastern Europe: Polish retail sales and unemployment. Czech business sentiment and consumer confidence.

Australia, Turkey and South Africa: Australian quarterly consumer prices and producer prices, as well as monthly CBA-compiled manufacturing and non-manufacturing PMIs, and index of leading economic indicators. Turkish consumer sentiment and South African producer prices.
Canada and Mexico: Canadian and Mexican wholesale turnover. Mexican unemployment, retail sales and trade balance.
